The Ross Chorus from the Taiwan production era is a compact analog chorus pedal that generates a pitch-modulated doubling of the input signal. Its Rate control sets the speed of the low-frequency oscillator that sweeps the delayed signal, producing a slow, gentle undulation at minimum settings and a faster, more pronounced vibrato-like shimmer at maximum. The Depth control adjusts the intensity of that pitch modulation, determining how far the delayed signal deviates from the dry pitch. A single output carries the blended dry and chorused signal, and the pedal operates on a standard 9-volt DC supply, with no battery compartment on this version. The effect is engaged and bypassed via a footswitch, and the circuit is known for its warm, subtle character typical of analog chorus designs from that period.
