The T-Rex Tremster is a tremolo pedal that shapes its output through a combination of rate, depth, and level controls. The Rate knob determines the speed of the amplitude modulation, from slow pulses to fast, shimmering trembles. Depth adjusts how strongly the volume swells and dips, ranging from a subtle waver to a deep, choppy effect. The Level control sets the overall output volume, allowing the tremolo effect to be matched against the dry signal or boosted for solos. A dedicated waveform switch selects between different modulation shapes, such as a smooth sine-like swell or a more abrupt, square-wave gating, which changes the character of the rhythmic pulsing. The pedal is housed in a compact, sturdy enclosure typical of T-Rex's stompbox line, with true bypass switching to preserve the guitar's signal when the effect is disengaged.
