The T-rex Mudhoney distortion pedal uses a two-band tone stack rather than a single tone knob, letting the low and high frequency content of the distorted signal be shaped independently. Its Distortion control sets the amount of gain and saturation, while the Level control adjusts the output volume to match or boost the bypassed signal. The pedal is housed in a compact metal enclosure and is powered by a standard 9-volt DC adapter, with no battery compartment.
