The PSK WV-200 combines a wah and a volume pedal in a single treadle-operated unit. Rocking the pedal forward and back sweeps the wah's band-pass filter across the frequency spectrum, producing the characteristic vowel-like "wah" effect; the treadle's position determines the filter's center frequency, with the toe-down position yielding a brighter, more piercing tone and the heel-down position producing a darker, muted sound. Switching to volume mode repurposes the same treadle movement to control the output level, allowing swells and fades without changing the tone. A footswitch toggles between the wah and volume functions, and an LED indicates which mode is active.
