The Electra Phase 501P is a phaser pedal that creates a sweeping, filter-like modulation by shifting the phase of the signal and mixing it with the dry signal. Its Rate control determines the speed of the sweep, from slow, subtle undulations to fast, wobbly cycles. The Depth control adjusts the intensity of the phase shift, affecting how pronounced the sweeping effect is. A Feedback control, when present, regenerates the phase-shifted signal to create a more resonant, pronounced sweep, similar to a flanger-like character at higher settings. The pedal operates with a standard 9V DC power supply and features a bypass switch to engage or disengage the effect, preserving the dry signal when off.
