DOD Stereo Flanger FX75

The DOD FX75 Stereo Flanger generates its flanging effect by mixing the dry signal with a delayed copy whose delay time is swept by an internal low-frequency oscillator. A Rate control sets the speed of that sweep, while a Depth control determines how far the delay time travels, which changes the intensity of the comb-filter notches that produce the characteristic swooshing or jet-like sound. A manual or delay-time control shifts the center delay point, altering the pitch and spacing of the flanging peaks. The pedal provides stereo outputs: one output carries the dry signal, and the other carries the effected signal, or both can be used to create a wide stereo image when the effect is applied. A regeneration or feedback control feeds some of the delayed signal back into the input, increasing the resonance and metallic quality of the effect. The FX75 is housed in a compact, rugged metal chassis typical of DOD pedals from its era, with a footswitch for true bypass operation.
